I Will be a Change Maker as IEDPU FCT Chapter Chairman – Lukman Atanda

Alhaji Lukman Atanda Abdullah, the newly inaugurated Chairman of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU FCT Chapter, has vowed to bring about transformative change and progress to the union.

Abdullah took the reins from Alhaji Alkadiriyah Mashud on November 16, 2024, at the Ansarul Islam Central Mosque in Jabi, Abuja, promising to foster unity, progress, and development within the union and the broader Ilorin Emirate community in Abuja and environs.

In his remarks, Abdullah emphasized his commitment to excellence, stating, “I will work tirelessly to ensure our union becomes a model for other chapters and a beacon of hope for our people”.

He reiterated his pledge to be a change maker, ushering in a new era of growth and progress for the union, while promoting unity, progress, and development among members in Abuja and beyond.

“I pledge to be a change maker, ushering in a new era of growth and progress for the union,” he stated.

“I am committed to promoting unity, progress, and development among members and the larger Ilorin Emirate community in Abuja and beyond. ”

The outgoing Chairman, Alhaji Alkadiriyah Mashud expressed gratitude to the union’s members for their support during his tenure.

“I am proud of what we have achieved together, and I have no doubt that the new leadership will take the union to greater heights,” Mashud said, adding that he appreciates the support of members and is confident the union will continue to thrive under Abdullah’s leadership.

“I appreciate the support of our members during my tenure and I am confident that the union will continue to thrive.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have served this great union and I wish the new leadership all the best.”
