COLAASU Honors CAILS Pioneer Academic Staff, Dr. AbdulRazaq Solagberu

The Academic Staff Union of Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS), Ilorin chapter, has hosted a send-forth ceremony in honor of Dr. AbdulRazaq Solagberu, a pioneer academic staff member.
The event, which took place on Monday at the College Lecture Hall Building, was attended by a distinguished gathering of college administrators, directors, deans, representative of Kwara State Head of Service, and staff.
In his remarks, the Acting Provost of the college, Dr. Sa’ad Hadi praised Dr. Solagberu for his remarkable contributions to the institution, describing him as a scholar of Sufism and a pillar of wisdom.

Hadi commended the outgoing executives of the union for their selfless service and commitment to the welfare of members and the progress of the college.
Dr. (Mrs.) H.T. Umar, the outgoing Chairman of the Union, delivered a heartfelt tribute to Dr. Solagberu, acknowledging his immeasurable impact on the college community.
She praised his leadership, guided wisdom, humility, and integrity, which have been a shining example of what it means to serve with compassion and dedication.
The Registrar, Mallam Afolabi Suleiman (MNIM), also paid tribute to Dr. Solagberu, describing him as a distinguished scholar, devout spiritual leader, and exceptional mentor.
He expressed gratitude for Dr. Solagberu’s invaluable mentorship and constant support, which have significantly shaped his professional and personal growth.
The ceremony included the presentation of gifts and certificates of merit to Dr. Solagberu and other deserving members of the college community.
In his response, Dr. Solagberu expressed his gratitude to the union and college staff for the thoughtful farewell ceremony and encouraged active staff to demonstrate dedication and professionalism in their duties.
