Communications Ministry Charges Agencies on Dedication in the New Year
The Kwara State Commissioner of Communications, Hon. Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh, has called on workers of the ministry and its agencies to stay dedicated and committed to their duties in the new year in order to bring to the fore the achievements and efforts of Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq.
She made the call during the maiden meeting of the year held with all the heads of the Agencies under the Ministry which held at the Ministry’s Conference room.
The Commissioner appreciated them for their outputs last year and urged them to work assiduously towards achieving the goals of the government for the Agencies.

“This meeting is an overview of last year’s activities. We are here to look at the challenges your Agencies are facing and proffer solutions where applicable,” she said.
Hon. Buraimoh stated that the year 2022 is a blank page and each worker will choose what he will write on it, alluding to the fact that each person is responsible for their acts and that the new year is an opportunity to amend the wrongs of the past year and start afresh.
While responding, the Director-General of the Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), Mr. Olorunshola Omotayo, appreciated the Management of the Ministry and submitted that in terms of revenue generation, the Agency is now better than how he met it.
On her part, the General Manager of Kwara State Hospitality and Tourism Board, Mrs. Onietan Bolaji, affirmed that with the rich discussions of the meeting, it is certain that 2022 will be a fruitful and profitable year. She also used the avenue to suggest that State Agencies be used as excursion sites for the government.
Other Agencies represented were the Kwara State Television Authority and Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation (Radio Kwara).
