Confusion as Newly Wedded Bride set Ablaze by Rival Wife in Minna

Fatima, a newly wedded bride has been reportedly set ablaze by her husband’s first
wife, on Wednesday in Minna, Niger State.
It was gathered that the victim, Fatima, hails from Katsina and just got married to her husband few weeks ago.
A source confirmed that Fatima was attacked at her apartment by the rival wife who after beating her to pulp set her ablaze.
Another source, Muhammad T Shehu, who shared the news on his Facebook wall confirmed the incident, he however said that the two wives were not living in the same apartment.
He said the first wife invaded Fatima’s house and beat her to a pulp, which afterwards locked her up inside the room and set it on fire, burning the new bride to death.
Although the reason for the attack could not be ascertained at the time of filling the report.
According to Shehu: “They were not living in the same house but the first wife went to her house which is not far and beat her to pulp before locking her room up and setting her ablaze.”
