‘Consider our road’, Islamic Clerics Urge Kwara Govt on Kulende-Sango Road
The people of Kulende under the aegis of Muhyideen Community Development Association have called on Kwara State Governor to help them in completing the road linking Police E-Division which has long been abandoned, considering its economic value to the people of the area.
The call was made on Saturday during a special prayer organized for AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration by the community.
Fadhilat Sheikh Alhaji Jubril Shaban, who officiated the prayer appreciated the governor for his many laudable developmental projects across the state, adding that it would be much more appreciative if their yearnings can be attended to.
He therefore prayed for peace and Allaah’s guidance for the governor, saying only prayers can help him succeed at the helm of affairs.
Dr. Sobur Gali Alaya (Agba) while delivering a thought provoking sermon, Emphasised on the importance of the road, saying the road will bring rapid develoment and business expansion to the community.
He bemoaned how the said road has led to many accidents due to its deplorable nature.
Alaya said if the road is considered, it will not only reduce traffic problem along Sango area but also complement the effort of Federal Government.
