The Elites Network For Sustainable Development (ENetSuD), a Kwara-based civil society organization, has announced the launch of the ENetSuD App, its first mobile app.
During a radio interview with Royal FM 95.1, Chairman of the App Launching Committee, Saeed Tijjani, confirmed this development, saying that preparations are in top gear for the launching slated for March 18th, 2022.
The Chairman, accompanied by the organization Deputy Coordinator, Comrade Lanre Osho during the announcement said they are genuinely inviting the general public to grace the noble event as it promises to be interactive and educative.
“The event is billed to hold at the Kwara State NUJ, Hall opposite St. Anthony Secondary School, Offa Road, Ilorin by 10.00 am,” he said.
The mobile app was an initiative of the organization which becomes reality through the partnership of Digprom International.
Analyzing the functions of the App, the organization said, citizens would be able to have access to direct and real-time information on how funds are allocated and how governments are spending appropriated funds using ENetSuD App.
“Ability to connect to their elected representatives for effective civic engagements”
Furthermore, the CSO group also noted that on the app, citizens would be able to initiate and join public interest advocacies of their choices, initiate and propagate petition(s) against any appointed or elected government officials and agencies.
“On the app, citizens can facilitate projects needed in communities from the government and members of the public” the chairman added.
We’re looking forward to having all Kwarans on board to witness the launching of this laudable initiative. The Chairman added.
