CGC Adeniyi emphasized the security measures in place to prevent malpractice and ensure the examination’s integrity, noting that invigilation and safeguarding measures had been strengthened.
He acknowledged the competitive nature of the process, with limited vacancies for senior positions, but assured that the most qualified officers would be promoted.
The Customs boss also confirmed that technological provisions had been made to allow officers posted abroad to participate in the examination simultaneously with their colleagues in Nigeria.
“This promotion exercise is not only statutory but crucial to maintaining the high standards of our Service. Every eligible officer will be promoted based on their performance,” he said.
