FG Rolls Out Digital Lions Programme to Train Nigerian Entrepreneurs

The Federal Government has launched the Digital Lions Programme as part of efforts to strengthen the capacity of Nigerian entrepreneurs and position them for growth in an increasingly digital economy.

The initiative, unveiled by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Entrepreneurship Development, is being implemented under the Renewed Hope Enterprise Bridge Initiative in partnership with African Business Heroes.

According to a statement from the office release ld in Sunday, the programme is designed as a high-impact training platform that will provide selected entrepreneurs with access to digital learning tools, practical business frameworks and global best practices.

It said the intervention targets gaps in execution and digital readiness, which continue to limit the growth potential of many small and medium-scale enterprises.

Participants will be drawn from key sectors including technology, agriculture, manufacturing and the creative industry, reflecting the diversity of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The programme is also expected to equip entrepreneurs with the skills required to scale their businesses, compete globally and adapt to emerging market realities.

The statement noted that the Digital Lions Programme aligns with broader efforts to deepen enterprise development by focusing on capacity building rather than funding alone.
