FRSC Begins Advanced Capacity Development, Trains 1646 Personnel

In a bid to secure the future of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed has launched a comprehensive capacity-building program, training 1646 personnel across various cadres.
The program, aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge to meet evolving road safety demands, includes training for 341 Unit Commanders, 415 Road Marshal Assistants, 700 Drivers, 90 Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, and 100 junior Officers.
INCNews247 reports that Twenty Junior Officers recently graduated from the Junior Staff Course at FRSC Command and Staff College, Udi, Enugu State, receiving Pass Junior Staff College (pjsc) certificates.

Corps Marshal Mohammed emphasized that the program empowers staff with latest skills, knowledge, and best practices in road safety management, investing in personnel and the future of road safety in Nigeria.
The initiative underscores the Corps Marshal’s commitment to positioning FRSC as a leading road safety agency, equipped to address modern road safety challenges.
The training programs feature theoretical and practical sessions, workshops, and mentoring by in-house and international experts, focusing on traffic enforcement, road safety education, data analysis, leadership development, and digital literacy.
The program has commenced in all FRSC training institutions, demonstrating the Corps Marshal’s dedication to enhancing personnel capacity and securing the future of road safety in Nigeria.
