Gombe Governor Reshuffles Cabinet, Sacks 3 Commissioners

The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has Monday reshuffled his cabinet with three commissioners been sacked with immediate effect.

This was disclosed in a statement made by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi and made available to the newsmen.

“Governor Yahaya has approved a minor cabinet in the State as follows: Mohammed Danladi Adamu from Lands and Survey to Rural Community Development and Cooperatives, Dr. Habu Dahiru from Education to Health, Usman Jafun Biri from Ministry of Rural, Community Development and Cooperatives to Ministry of Lands and Survey,” he said.

Others include: “Julius Ishaya from Ministry of Youth Development to Ministry of Information and Culture and Dauda Batari Zambuk from Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation to Ministry of Education.

“Adamu Dishi Kupto from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation.”

He added that, “In the same line, the governor has relieved the new commissioners of their appointments with immediate effect. The affected commissioners are Alhassan Ibrahim Kwami – Information & Culture, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Gana- Health and Mela Audu Nunghe (SAN)- Special Duties.”
