Again, Govt Shuts Down Kwara Express for Repositioning

The Kwara State Government has announced the temporary closure of Harmony Transport Services Ltd (HTSL), popularly known as Kwara Express, to undergo a comprehensive restructuring.
According to a statement by Harmony Holdings Ltd and obtained by INCNews247, the overhaul aims to modernize the company’s fleet and infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance operational efficiency and customer service delivery.
The restructuring involves full payment of exit benefits to all workers, with the option to reapply after the overhaul.

“The decision to pay off workers is difficult, but essential for establishing a sustainable operational framework,” the statement said.
INCNews247 gathered that recent customer feedback highlighted the need for improvement, prompting this decisive action.
Harmony Holdings Ltd assured that all exit entitlements are being settled, expressing appreciation for the workers’ contributions.
The temporary shutdown may cause inconvenience, but efforts are underway to minimize the duration.
“The general public can rest assured that all measures are being implemented to ensure a seamless transition,” the statement concluded.
