ICPC Boss Advocates Grassroots Collaboration for Effective Governance

Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, SAN, Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has urged political leaders to work closely with grassroots leaders to address the pressing governance challenges facing Nigeria.
Aliyu delivered this message at a recent book launch held in honor of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at Arewa House, Kaduna.
Represented by the ICPC Kaduna State Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Prince Hassan Mohammed, Aliyu emphasized that the new policies and reforms introduced by President Tinubu offer a promising path for Nigeria to achieve greatness.

Aliyu, who served as a Special Guest at the event, lauded the author for the timely release of the book titled “Life Long Ambition” in celebration of Democracy Day.
He noted that the book provides essential insights into President Tinubu’s political journey, which are crucial for the country’s democratic development.
“I have no doubt that the wisdom and perspectives shared in this great book will offer us a chance to reflect on the journey we have undertaken as a society and to glean valuable lessons that can guide our future endeavors,” Dr. Aliyu stated.
The Honourable Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, CON, represented by Major General A.T Jibrin, also praised the book and its author, highlighting its importance for understanding President Tinubu’s political history and policies.
He urged Nigerians to study these policies to better appreciate their impact on the nation’s democratic journey.
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, represented by his Special Adviser on Economic Matters, Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed, echoed similar sentiments, calling on Nigerians to uphold truth and political integrity.
He stressed the need for a deeper understanding of President Tinubu’s past and new policies to foster national development.
Ambassador V.O. Ejeh, the author of the book, expressed his gratitude to the guests and dignitaries for their attendance.
He highlighted the key messages from the event, hoping they would inspire and inform the attendees.
