Eid-el-Fitr: IEYDA Charges Continued Charity Beyond Ramadan Period

By Alabidun Shuaib AbdulRahman

The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has encouraged Muslims to continue their support of the less privileged, even after the conclusion of Ramadan, noting end of Ramadan should not mean the end of charity and empathy.

In a Sallah message issued on Friday in Ilorin, the association’s National President, Alh. Abdullahi Babatunde Salau, and National Publicity Secretary, Alh. Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, emphasised the importance of charity and empathy.

IEYDA urged Muslims to maintain the spirit of unity and display love towards others, as peaceful coexistence and compassion towards neighbours are essential for rapid growth.

The association extended congratulations to the Muslim Ummah worldwide for successfully completing the holy month of Ramadan, praying that Allah accepts all their worship as acts of Ibadah.

It also felicitated with HRH, the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, the Emirate Council, and the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-el-Fitr Celebration.

IEYDA concluded its message by praying for Allah to grant all Muslims a joyous celebration and accept all their prayers.
