The G15 Political Movement has dismissed reports of division within its ranks and the wider OTOGE Progressive family, reaffirming its commitment to promoting inclusive, accountable and responsive governance in Kwara State.
The group, in a statement jointly signed by its members, said it remained united and focused on its objectives, describing reports of internal disagreements as speculation and misinformation aimed at creating division among its members.
The G15 said its vision was to build a Kwara State where opportunities were determined by merit rather than family connections or individual influence, while decisions affecting the people were reached through meaningful consultation with critical stakeholders.

It maintained that no individual, family or narrow interest should determine the political and developmental direction of the state, stressing that the collective interest of Kwara should take precedence over personal ambitions.
The movement also reaffirmed the relevance of the Rainbow Coalition, describing it as a platform for bringing together individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds who shared common convictions about the future of Kwara.
The group said it would, as the political season progresses, continue to engage political stakeholders and those seeking elective positions based on their programmes, commitments and adherence to the principles of inclusive governance, accountability, competence and service to the people.
It added that its political engagements would remain guided by the interest and welfare of Kwara State.
The G15 urged residents of the state to remain actively involved in the democratic process and avoid being distracted by rumours and political developments that could undermine meaningful engagement.
It called on Kwarans to scrutinise issues, ask questions and demand clear commitments from politicians seeking public office.
“Kwara belongs to all of us, and its future must be shaped by the collective aspirations of its people,” the group said.
The movement further pledged to continue engaging stakeholders, building bridges and working with individuals and groups that share its position on inclusive governance, accountable leadership and a political environment where citizens have a voice.
The statement was signed by 14 members of the group, including Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe; Senator Yisa Oyelola Ashiru; Senator Suleiman Sadiq Umar; Senator Saliu Mustapha; Dr Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa; Mohammed Dele Belgore, SAN; Alhaji Tajudeen Abdulkadir Audu; Hon. Mohammed Bio Omar; Hon. Tijjani Kayode Ismail; Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki; Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aliko; Dr Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi; Dr Azeez Muideen Salako Olaniyi; and Captain Ahmed Mahmud.
The G15 reaffirmed that it would remain focused on its stated objectives and what it described as the broader interest of Kwara State.
