NYSC Fixes July 9 for Passing-out of 2025 Batch B Stream I Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has approved July 9, 2026, as the official passing-out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I corps members nationwide.
The NYSC disclosed this in a statement issued by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu and obtained by INCNews247.
According to the statement, activities leading up to the passing-out parade commenced on June 23 and will include Job Advisory and Counselling programmes organised by the NYSC and relevant partner agencies, registration and clearance of corps members by Local Government Inspectors, as well as the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
The scheme stated that the winding-up activities are designed to prepare corps members for life after national service and ensure the successful completion of all administrative processes before their exit from the programme.

It added that the low-key passing-out exercise would feature the distribution of Certificates of National Service to eligible corps members across the 774 Local Government Areas of the country.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
He also urged them to uphold the ideals and core values of the scheme as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
Nafiu encouraged the corps members to remain good ambassadors of the NYSC and to allow the lessons of national service to guide their relationships and contributions to society after leaving the scheme.
