Olori Kafayat, Wife of Late Alaafin of Oyo is Dead

Only two months after the legendary Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo, passed away, one of his wives, Olori Kafayat, has also died.
Although at press time, the cause of her death has not yet been made public, sources claim that the Olori passed away late on Friday night.

The deceased is the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi (D’Gov), the chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board.
Olori Kafayat was the fourth Olori of the late Oba Adeyemi III.
She was referred to as Iya Aguo or Iya Ibeji in Oyo Kingdom before her death.
