Pandemonium as Unspecified Numbers of Secondary School Students Abducted in Kaduna

Unknown gunmen on Monday, suspected to be bandits reportedly abducted unspecified number of Bethel Secondary School students in Maramara Chickun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The gunmen were reportedly said to storm Bethel school around 1am of midnight.
A security guard in the school named Daniel Muhuta said he escaped narrowly.
“They stormed the school around 1.00am of midnight and started shooting sporadically. I was at the back of the school domentary when I heard shooting and decided to pin down.” Muhuta narrated.
Security personnel cordoned off the area as parents and relatives of the kidnapped students gathered at the main entrance in a sorrowful mood.
At the press time, Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige could not be reached for comment as he did not respond to calls in his phone.
