REGISTER: Southwest Alumni Open Career Training Portal for UNILORIN Graduates

The University of Ilorin Alumni Association, Southwest Zone, has launched a graduate empowerment initiative to equip recent graduates with skills needed to compete in today’s tough job market.
The programme, which targets UNILORIN graduates from 2020 to 2025, is designed to sharpen employability, boost entrepreneurship and enhance leadership capacity through mentorship, training and professional exposure.

According to the organisers, participants will be trained in personal branding, digital marketing, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, project management, CV writing and interview techniques. Other focus areas include creative skills in art, media and fashion, communication and technology-driven innovations.
The association said the empowerment drive is part of efforts to “transform potential into excellence” and to prepare graduates for real-world challenges with both practical and theoretical knowledge.
Registration for the scheme has commenced, with the deadline fixed for September 30, 2025. Interested graduates are to apply through the association’s online portal.
