Sobi Specialist Hospital Takes Delivery of 50KVA Solar Inverter

Sobi Specialist Hospital has integrated a 50KVA Solar Inverter into its infrastructure, heralding a new era of sustainable energy utilization within the healthcare sector.
This comes as part of a comprehensive initiative spearheaded by the Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to fortify medical facilities with reliable power sources.
Dr. Abdulraheem Malik, Executive Secretary of Kwara State Hospitals Management Board, lauded the initiative during an inspection, emphasizing its potential to alleviate challenges faced by both healthcare professionals and patients.

Malik added that Governor AbdulRazaq has also endorsed the provision of an alternative source of power supply in the form of solar inverter as recommended by the Board so that all government hospitals can have 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to deliver services to patients.
He said plans are underway to illuminate the entirety of Sobi Hospital premises, enhancing safety and accessibility during all hours.
INCNews247 learnt that Lafiagi, Kaiama, Patigi, Okuta, Ilesa-Baruba, Yashikira, and Sobi Specialist have been scheduled for installation.
Recall that Igbaja, Lade, and Centre Igboro’s emergency unit got it last year.
