The company, renowned for its innovative storytelling approach, is deeply committed to reviving the once-revered stage theatre culture in the country.

Fueled by recent challenges, OKV is embarking on a new chapter with its eagerly awaited comeback production, “Konji Harvest.”

“Konji Harvest” represents a comico-satirical dramatic performance that thoughtfully examines the transactional nature of sex, sexual expression, and the intricate complexities surrounding these subjects. It masterfully blends elements of eroticism, passion, education, and enlightenment.

Following a successful premiere in Abeokuta, the company is poised to captivate audiences in Ibadan on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at the esteemed New Culture Studio in Mokola.

The play serves as a platform to address sexual issues that are often considered taboo, with the intention of facilitating open and constructive dialogues.

Tuoyo Arueyingho, Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Art Practitioners (NANTAP) for Ogun State, lauded the production’s audacious approach, deeming it a significant theatrical experiment that mirrors the sometimes intricate dynamics of the world’s sexual landscape.

OKV’s forthcoming lineup boasts intriguing plays such as “OLUMO, the musical,” “OSUPA, the Fuji musical,” “ORGASM, a fore play,” and “Avatars of Oodua, the musical.”
