Tragic as COED Ilorin Student Slumps, Dies During Lecture

A 100-Level student of the Kwara State College of Education, COED Ilorin, Aminat Tajudeen, has died tragically while attending a lecture in class.
The incident, according to reports, occurred at approximately 1:30 pm on Wednesday, and Aminat had reportedly collected her matriculation gown for a ceremony scheduled to take place on Thursday before returning to class.

A senior staff member at the school who spoke anonymously said Aminat suddenly slumped during the lecture and was immediately rushed to the school clinic. Despite efforts to save her, she passed away shortly after.
The school’s Public Relations Officer, Mrs Abibat Zubair, confirmed the incident on Thursday.
She stated that the deceased was a student of Music/Yoruba and that the entire college community mourned her loss, particularly during the matriculation ceremony.
Zubair added that the Provost of the college visited Aminat’s parents to offer his condolences.
