Yahaya Seriki Donates ₦2 Million for 4-Year-Old’s Cochlear Implant Surgery

Renowned philanthropist, Amb Yahaya Seriki Gambari has extended a heartwarming gesture of generosity by making a substantial contribution toward alleviating the challenges faced by young Abdulhayy Modibbo, who is grappling with Waardenburg Syndrome.
At the tender age of 4 years and 6 months, Abdulhayy was diagnosed with this developmental disorder, resulting in hearing loss and other associated symptoms.
Abdulhayy’s diagnosis was confirmed at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, where it became evident that he requires immediate medical attention, encompassing a Cochlear implant and various rehabilitation measures.

The urgency of this surgical intervention is underscored by the fact that it must be conducted before Abdulhayy reaches the age of 5.
In a compassionate and altruistic act, Amb Yahaya Seriki Gambari has generously contributed ₦2 million to support Abdulhayy’s path to recovery and a brighter future.
The overall cost of his medical requirements stands at ₦10.5 million.
The entire community is now called upon to unite and lend their support to this noble cause, enabling Abdulhayy to pursue a life filled with hope and possibilities.
The Modibbo family now faces the challenge of raising slightly over ₦8,000,000 (eight million naira) to complete the necessary treatment expenses.
Expressing his profound gratitude, Imam Ahmed, the father of the beneficiary, fervently prayed for continuous blessings and elevation for Amb. Yahyah Seriki.
He emphasized that this generous donation has provided immense relief for both him and his family.
His prayer is that Seriki and his family may be spared from enduring the hardships that the parents of the ailing child have courageously faced for years.
