Police Academy Sets October 6 for 12th Regular Course Screening

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, has announced October 6, 2025, as the commencement date for the screening exercise of candidates shortlisted for its 12th Regular Course.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar of the Academy, Barr. Ekpere Fidelis Ezeugwu, the exercise will involve a Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical features screening, medical evaluation, and a selection board interview.

The statement outlined a detailed schedule, placing candidates from different states into batches to streamline the process. Batch one, comprising Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi (Batch A) states, will be screened on the opening day, while the last batch, consisting of Zamfara and Yobe (Batch B) states, will be screened on October 15, 2025.

Candidates are expected to appear with both originals and photocopies of key documents, including primary school leaving certificate, SSCE results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate, guarantor’s form, medical fitness certificate from a government hospital, NIN slip, and four passport photographs.
They are also required to bring along their application acknowledgment slip, which must be printed from the Police Admission Portal.
On dress code, the Academy directed that candidates should report in white T-shirts, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.
The Registrar cautioned that no candidate would be attended to outside the dates allocated to their states, urging applicants to rely only on official information from the Police Academy portal and to beware of fake social media accounts impersonating the institution.
“Candidates are to refer to the Police Admission Portal for further information,” the statement added.
