NYSC Releases 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Schedule

The management of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC has released the timetable for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course.
According to the scheme, the 21-day orientation exercise will be conducted simultaneously across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
The schedule shows that the orientation programme will commence with the reception and registration of prospective corps members on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, and end at midnight on Friday, April 24, 2026.

The management also disclosed that the swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026.
It added that the orientation course would officially end on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
While wishing all mobilised Nigerian graduates safe journeys to their various orientation camps, the scheme reiterated its warning against night travel.
The NYSC advised prospective corps members to break their journeys by 6:00 p.m. and spend the night at designated safe locations such as corps members’ lodges, military formations, police stations or palaces of traditional rulers before continuing their trips the following day.
