AbdulRasaq Rewrites History: First Kwara Governor to Address Oro Grammar School’s Needs Since 1958

The President, Alhaji Olaiya Lawal, along with the Executive Committee and members of the Oro Grammar School Old Students Association, OGSOSA, have expressed their congratulations to Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq on his re-election and inauguration as the Executive Governor of Kwara for a second term on May 29th, 2023.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the Association’s Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Tunji Ajanaku, the association acknowledges the overwhelming victory achieved at the polls on March 18th, which serves as a testament to the remarkable progress made by Governor AbdulRasaq’s administration during his first term.
The association also commends AbdulRasaq for his commendable commitment to education, highlighting that he is the first governor to address the long-standing needs of Oro Grammar School since its establishment in 1958.
The statement further states, “You were the first governor to intervene in our school since its establishment in 1958 as a community school, through the complete rehabilitation of our infrastructure. We extend our prayers for even greater successes during your second term.”
