Gov. AbdulRazaq Welcomes ER-Kang to Kwara
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has received the management team of ER-Kang Nigeria Ltd, led by Managing Director Sun Qing Rong, at the Government House on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Governor AbdulRazaq praised ER-Kang Nigeria Ltd for their decision to establish their operation in Kwara, emphasizing his administration’s ongoing commitment to attract investment and improve the state’s economic landscape.
“Our administration will continue to drive investments vigorously,” he stated.

Sun Qing Rong noted that the choice of Kwara State as the company’s new base was influenced by the state’s robust infrastructure, including its good road network, and the government’s business-friendly policies.
The governor encouraged ER-Kang to act as positive representatives of the region, signaling that Kwara is eager to welcome more investors across various sectors, not limited to solid minerals.
INCNews247 reports that the development follows a series of pro-business actions by Governor AbdulRazaq, including a recent partnership with IHS Towers and the launch of a $500 million food security program to boost economic activities in the state.
In a significant development for local economic growth, in 2021, he signed Executive Order 001, which reduced numerous bureaucratic hurdles, streamlining the process for doing business in Kwara State.
