Aiyedatiwa Reiterates Commitment to Ondo Seaport

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has pledged to prioritize the Ondo Seaport project if elected, stating his commitment during his ongoing campaign trail at the Ilaje Local Government Area Headquarters in Igbokoda. 

Aiyedatiwa assured the populace that his administration would actively pursue the implementation of the Ondo Sea Port, in addition to supporting the Federal Government’s initiatives to restore power supply to the State’s Southern senatorial district. 

Addressing the power issue, he noted progress, stating, “One of our sons who works with the NDDC has continued the job and it’s 98% completed.” 

He also acknowledged challenges faced by the IBEDC in meter distribution and vowed government assistance once meter costs are determined. 

Aiyedatiwa received enthusiastic support from residents across Ilaje, Odigbo, and Okitipupo, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support and emphasizing the importance of voter turnout during Saturday’s primaries. 

Party leaders and stakeholders reiterated their support, with visits to traditional rulers in Odigbo and promises to prioritize the traditional institution. 

Aiyedatiwa thanked supporters at Maga Primary School in Ore and Okitipupa, assuring continued exemplary governance.

Notable visits included receiving blessings from traditional rulers Oba William Oluwasegun Akinyomi and Oba Michael Obatuga Adetoye. 

Additionally, the governor welcomed Rt. Hon. Ogundeji Iroju, a former deputy speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, to the APC after his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party.
