Al-Arifina-Billahi to Launch N500m Mosque, Present Awards in Abuja

 

The Al-Arifina-Billahi Prayer Ministry will on Saturday, December 6th, launch a N500 million ultra-modern mosque and present awards to outstanding Muslims as part of activities marking its 25th anniversary.

 

The event is scheduled to hold at the National Mosque, Abuja, beginning at 10am Islamic time.

 

According to the organisers, the planned 1,000-capacity mosque is intended to serve as a major centre for worship, Islamic education, and community engagement.

Prominent Islamic scholars expected at the event include the Imam of the National Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulkadir Muhammad Jum’ua Solagberu; the Chief Imam of the Ansarudeen Mosque, Prof. Musa Olaofe; and Sheikh Mustopha Agbarere (SAN).

 

The Chief Launcher is Hon. Dr. Saba Ahmed Adamu, who represents Edu/Moro/Pategi Federal Constituency of Kwara State.

 

The Co-launchers are Alh. Dr. AbdulRauf Oladipupo, Seriki Adinni of Yorubaland, and Hajia Amina AbdulRauf Oladipupo, Yeye Seriki Adinni of Yorubaland.

 

Individuals to be honoured at the ceremony include Alh. Dr. AbdulRauf Biodun Oladipupo; Alhaja Aminat AbdulRauf Biodun Oladipupo; Sheikh Imam Ibrahim Elewiimmo; Alh. Yusuf Mohammed (Bulala); Alh. Adedeji Kareem (Shittabey); Alagba Gbenga Ogundele; Prince Balogun; Alh. Muritala Adekunle Agboomola; Alh. Abdulwaheed Sulaiman; Sheikh Qosim Alamowy; Sheikh AbdulLateef AbdulKareem; Hajia Hidiat Fadeke Lawal; and Sheikh Al-Imam Umar Assayuti Mai Masa.

 

Posthumous awards will also be presented in honour of Alhaja Wasilat Aweni Kelani; Fadilat Sheikh Yusuf Oluwa Dairo (Baba La’Alla); Sheikh Bello Asioloriro; Alh. Abdul Azeez Alao Kolawole; Alh. Nafi-u-deen Alaba Oladosu; and Alh. AbdulWaheed Taiwo AlQurian.

 

Other guests expected include Alh. Mohammad Isyaku Lawan (CEO, Bee Tee Motors); Alh. Fatai Rafiu Adio (CEO, Adraf Motors); Alh. Chief Kamaldeen Oladejo (Asiwaju of Owu Kingdom); Engr. Musa Saidu (Director Highways, Federal Ministry of Works); Barrister Sirajudeen Abdullahi; Hajia Qudrat Bamali; Alh. Abdulrazaq Muhammadu Dangado; Alh. Fatai Jimoh; and Hajia Kareemat Rinsola Moshood Abiola.

 

The organisers said the event is designed to recognise contributions to Islamic growth, encourage community service, and unveil a modern worship facility for the benefit of the Muslim community.
