Alore LSMB 1980 Set Proposes 6-Block Toilet Project for Alma Mater

The Alore LSMB 1980 Set has proposed an ambitious project to construct six blocks of toilets for their alma mater.

 

 

The proposal was made during the set’s inaugural meeting, which held at the Finance Ministry Conference Hall in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Sunday.

According to Barr Taiwo Alakoso, a member of the set, “The proposed six-block toilet project is just the beginning of our efforts to improve the learning environment for current and future students.”

He emphasized that the project is a pointer to the set’s commitment to supporting education in their community.

“We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and we are proud to be playing a part in making that a reality,” he stated.

 

 

The project, set to commence in 2025, has already seen the inauguration of a committee to oversee its execution.

 

 

Alakoso expressed his appreciation to the Chief Host, Alhaji Abdulrasaque Folorunsho, for hosting the set’s inaugural meeting.

“We are grateful for his support and hospitality, and we look forward to working with him and other stakeholders to bring this project to fruition,” he said.

 

 

The Alore LSMB 1980 Set also acknowledged the importance of exploring other developmental projects, such as improving the condition of teachers and identifying the school’s specific needs.

 

 

The set’s focus is on the primary school, their alma mater, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the education sector in their community.

 

 

The main coordinating committee members include Hassan Abubakar Oladimeji, Bar. Taiwo Alakoso, and Dr. Abubakar Folorunsho.

 

 

Other members inaugurated to oversee the proposed projects are Qs Taiwo Moyosore, Hajia Fatima Ahmed, and Hassan Abubakar Oladimeji.
