ASKOMP Mourns Prof. Akanbi, to Reel Out His Achievements

The Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners, ASKOMP, has joined Kwara State University, Malete, Ilorin Emirate and other Kwarans to mourn the death of the State Varsity’s Vice Chancellor, Prof Muhammed Akanbi SAN, promising to make public his accomplishments across board.
The association, in a statement signed by its Chairman, Salihu Shola Taofeek hailed the deceased scholar as an influential professor with good candor, grace, and brilliance who exudes greatness.
It aslo recognised the late KWASU Vice Chancellor’s efforts to integrate online media into the institution’s public relations communication channels.
According to the statement, “The death of Kwara State University, Malete Vice Chancellor, Prof Muhammed Akanbi was a rude shock to us. It’s one death too many for Kwarans because he was a good motivation for Youths, especially in area of career development.
“While we are mourning the departed Vice Chancellor of KWASU, the association condoles the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Zulu Gambari and his immediate family over the great loss. We pray the Almighty Allah will his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.”
ASKOMP in honour of Prof Muhammed Akanbi will Tuesday November 22, 2022 launch special series tagged: “Celebrating Good Life of Prof Muhammed Akanbi, SAN” to capture tributes and achievements of the ILORIN born erudite academic and legal luminary.
