Alex Bankole Disowns Appointment as Kwara Coordinator of Atiku Movement

Dr Kehinde Alex Bankole, the Kwara State Secretary of the Tinubu Support Group, has dissociated himself from a purported appointment letter naming “Hon. Bankole Kehinde” as the Kwara State Coordinator of the Atiku Village Boys Movement.
Bankole, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, said he was not the individual referred to in the letter and had not authorised anyone to associate him with the movement in that capacity.
In a statement signed by his media office, Bankole urged members of the public and media organisations to verify the identities and political affiliations of individuals before publishing or circulating information that could create a false impression.

The statement cautioned against assuming that the person named in the purported appointment letter was Bankole, noting that different individuals could bear similar names.
It said Bankole remained committed to the APC and continued to support President Bola Tinubu’s leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The statement added that Bankole served as the Kwara State Secretary of the Tinubu Support Group, which was recently inaugurated in Kano State.
It described suggestions that he had accepted an appointment or assumed a coordinating role in the Atiku Village Boys Movement as incorrect.
Bankole’s media office called on political associates and the public to disregard any claims linking him to the purported appointment.
The statement reiterated that his political allegiance remained with the APC and the Tinubu administration.
