Alhaji Abdulsamiu, a businessman and seller of vehicle spare parts in the outskirts of Mokwa town, Niger State, met a tragic end yesterday when he was brutally shot and killed by suspected gunmen.
The incident, as gathered by INCNews247, took place at Government Technical College School in the town at approximately 8:30 pm. Tragically, the assailants also kidnapped the victim’s daughter.
Eyewitnesses at the scene recount a harrowing sequence of events. The victim was fatally shot at his shop, where he had been forcibly taken by the attackers. Abdulsamiu bravely resisted their attempts.
Accounts from multiple sources indicate that the audacious gunmen emerged from the college adjacent to his shop, arriving on motorcycles and a Corolla LE vehicle.

Yahaya Ibrahim, another witness, arrived at the scene after the incident involving the suspected kidnappers.
He reported, “I heard gunshots, and eyewitnesses in my vicinity stated that he was rushed to the hospital. Regrettably, he lost his life on the way to the hospital.
