Just Event Foundation Opens Registration for Free Summer Lesson for JSS Students

Just Event Online Foundation has announced its 6th edition of the long holiday free summer lesson, scheduled to commence on July 29, 2024.
According to Isiaka A. Rasheed, the Executive Director of the foundation, registration is now open for students in JSS 1 to JSS3, noting “We believe that education is the best empowerment you can give to an individual. That’s why we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.”
The foundation, established in 2017, has been giving back to the society through various initiatives, including scholarships, training programs, and medical outreach.

The foundation which is a subsidiary of Just Event Online Publications, has since its launch, provided over 60 scholarships to outstanding students.
“Our focus is on quality education for less privileged students, medical outreach, empowerment, sport, among other humanitarian services,” said Rasheed.
The ED added that in commemoration of this year’s International Children’s Day, the foundation also trained 12 selected students from six schools in Ilorin on the importance of journalism and media practice.
He encouraged interested students to apply for the free summer lesson, which will be held at Pakata Junior Secondary School, Ilorin, saying due to space limitations, only 150 students can be accommodated.
