The Special Assistant to the honourable minister of transportation (State) on policy and research, Anifowoshe Titlope has resigned her membership of the ruling All Progressive Congress amidst the lingering crisis, Intercontinental News 247 can authoritatively report.
Anifowoshe Titlope, a former vice president of the University of ilorin Students union resigned in a terse statement obtained on her WhatsApp status.
She therefore confirmed the decision when contacted, saying “It’s a personal decision and got nothing to do with GRS.”
The statement reads:
“I No Longer believe in the APC as the political wheel that can make Nigeria better, hence I know I won’t function effectively especially because my heart no longer belongs here”
This doesn’t mean that I am opting for any Political party, I think I will be doing myself more good to entirely stay away from being a player of any sort in politics”, she added.
Though, she hasn’t resigned her appointment as at press time.
