Kwara Govt Collaborates with Nigerian Military to Enhance Security

In an ongoing effort to bolster security in Kwara State, the administration led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been actively supporting and cooperating with the Nigerian military.

The government’s commitment to strengthening security has prompted the military to engage in community outreach activities in the southern region of the state.

On Thursday, army officers embarked on a community engagement initiative aimed at safeguarding the lives and properties of residents.

The officers paid visits to the Owu-Isin and Isanlu Isin communities, where they interacted with influential figures such as traditional leaders and community leaders. Notably, political stakeholder Barrister Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo was also present during the engagement.

Over the years, the military has consistently deployed officers to various local governments within Kwara State to counter the influence of criminals and prevent them from establishing a foothold.

The government of Kwara State has actively provided extensive support to the military and other security agencies, ensuring that the peace and harmony the state is renowned for are maintained.

The collaborative efforts between the Kwara State Government and the Nigerian military reflect the commitment to effectively combatting insecurity and creating a safe environment for all residents.

Through community engagement and ongoing support, the government aims to fortify security measures, ultimately fostering a more secure and peaceful Kwara State.
