Matawalle, Gov Aliyu Inspect NAF Facility in Sokoto

Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, and Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, yesterday inspected the ongoing development of the Nigerian Air Force, NAF 119 Composite Group provisional layout in Sokoto State.
The joint inspection tour demonstrates the Federal Government’s and Sokoto State’s commitment to enhancing national security and stability in the North-West region.
Dr. Matawalle praised the Nigerian Air Force’s critical role in safeguarding the nation, assuring that the Federal Government will provide necessary resources to maintain operational efficiency.

He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to bolster NAF’s capacity in the strategic fight against insecurity.
Governor Aliyu Sokoto commended the synergy between federal and state governments in addressing security challenges, pledging continued cooperation to ensure peace and stability.
He lauded Dr. Matawalle’s bravery and commitment to resolving North-West security issues.
The inspection tour included a briefing from the Unit Commander, with top military officers, including GOC 8 Division Brigadier General I.A Ajose, in attendance.
