Moshood Bakare Declares Rep Ambition for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Constituency

A former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Moshood Bakare, has thrown his hat into the ring, declaring his intention to represent Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives come 2027.
In a statement sent to INCNews247, Bakare said his decision was informed by his interactions with constituents over the past few months, where he listened to their hopes, frustrations, and dreams for the constituency.
He expressed his commitment to building on the strength and resilience of the community.

“I believe that the time has come for us to build on that strength. This is why I will be seeking to represent you in the Federal House of Representatives in 2027,” Bakare said.
The lawmaker emphasized that his aspiration is not about a title or position but about service.
He noted that his experience in the Kwara State House of Assembly would enable him to shape policies that reflect the shared values and aspirations of the people.
Bakare identified education, employment, and equitable development as key issues that would be his focus.
He called on constituents to join him in his quest, saying the movement belongs to all who believe in the constituency’s potential.
“Let’s walk this path together—steadfast in our purpose and united in our collective vision,” he said.
“This movement is not mine alone. It belongs to all of us who believe that our constituency’s best days are still ahead.”
