Prince Lekan Adewoye Elected Chairman of MAN Sectoral Group

Prince Lekan Adewoye, Founder and Principal of the Lekan Adewoye Foundation, has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Basic Metal, Iron & Steel, and Fabricated Metal Product Sectoral Group of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN).

 

 

The development was confirmed during the Annual General Meeting of the sectoral group held on November 26, 2024, at the MAN Secretariat in Lagos.

 

 

Prince Adewoye, who is also the Chairman and CEO of Sunsteel Industries Ltd, succeeds Dr. Kamoru Yusuf, G.M. and CEO of Kam Industries Nigeria Ltd.

As a Prince from Arandun in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Adewoye’s leadership continues the legacy of strong representation from Kwara in this vital sector.

 

 

In his acceptance speech, Prince Adewoye expressed gratitude to the sectoral group members for their trust and support.

 

 

He pledged to address industry challenges, advocate for policies that benefit manufacturers, and foster innovation to ensure sustained growth and resilience within the sector.

 

 

Prince Adewoye is renowned for his philanthropic efforts through the Lekan Adewoye Foundation, which focuses on education, youth empowerment, and community development.

 

 

His election marks a pivotal moment for the sector, with stakeholders anticipating a renewed era of growth and excellence under his leadership.
