CDS Charges Special Operation Forces to Go After the Bad Guys

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, has urged graduants of the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) Special Operations Forces to remain humble and hungry for success.
Speaking at the graduation and badging ceremony of batch 7 at Bida, Niger State, General Musa emphasized the importance of staying true to the values and principles instilled during their training.
General Musa commended the graduants for their resilience, which he attributed to the professionalism of their trainers.

He reminded them that their skills are not only for combat but also for showing passion, empathy, and understanding towards the people they protect.
The CDS also conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appreciation for the troops’ commitment to duty and praised their performance at the Warriors Competition in Jordan.
The Commander of the DHQ Special Forces Brigade, Brigadier General IM Falana, thanked the CDS for his unwavering commitment to training and welfare.
He noted that the 13-week extensive training, which began in January 2024, produced 124 graduants, comprising nine officers and 136 soldiers.
INCNews247 reports that this new generation of warriors is equipped with specialized fighting skills and tactics to tackle the country’s security challenges.
Brigadier General Falana pledged the brigade’s loyalty to the CDS and the country, acknowledging General Musa’s leadership resolve to build a well-trained and professional Armed Forces.
The CDS was accompanied by senior military officers from the Defence Headquarters, Abuja to the event.
