It noted that the switching operation would result in a temporary interruption in electricity supply to some areas served by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company.
According to TCN, AEDC customers in Wuse Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, Utako, Jahi, Jabi, Central Business District, parts of Maitama and Mpape would experience the interruption.
The company said the affected customers would be without electricity for only 30 minutes, between 8am and 8:30am, during the switching operation.
TCN said the maintenance was part of efforts to improve the reliability and operational efficiency of the transmission network.
The transmission company apologised to electricity consumers in the affected areas for any inconvenience the temporary interruption might cause.
