Troops Arrest Fake NIMC Officials Registering non-Nigerian in Niger Republic

Two alleged fake National Identity Management Commission, NIMC, officials have been arrested by the Nigerian Military in Niger Republic.
The feat, according to Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami was in collaboration with the Nigeria Police and Nigeria Immigration Service.

Danmadami made the disclosure in Abuja today while briefing journalists on the activities of the Nigerian Military in the last two weeks.
According to the two star general, “The suspects had visited Gagamari, Internally Displaced Persons, IDP camp in Niger Republic to register non-Nigerian in the IDP camp.”
He noted that items recovered from the suspects included National Identification Number, NIN registration machine, printing machine, laminating machine, a computer tracking machine and a generator set among other items.
