Four Bandits Killed, One Captured As Military Raided Zamfara’s Forest

Four suspected bandits were killed while one person was arrested as Army raided Nasarawa, a suburb village in Anka local government of Zamfara State.
According to Makama Zagazola, a security expert in LakeChad who tweeted the development on his verified X account on Monday that the raid took place during night.
“The operation, which took place in the late hours of the night of Feb 10 and continued into the early hours of the morning, targeted a notorious hideout of bandits terrorizing the area”
“Among those killed was a well-known individual from Nasarawa village, who had long been suspected of involvement in criminal activities”.

He further stated that following credible reports, the troops launched a decisive assault, engaging the bandits in a fierce battle.
“Four of the criminals were neutralized, while another suspect was successfully captured and taken into custody for further investigation”.
This latest success is part of intensified efforts by the Nigerian Military to eliminate bandit groups operating in the region and restore peace to affected communities.
Turji’s Associates Killed By Army
Aminu Kanawa, the second in Command to terrorist kingpin, Bello Turji was killed by the Nigerian Army. The battle also led to injuries on some of Turji’s closest allies including his younger brother.

According to a statement by Edward Buba, the director defence Media Operations of the Armed Forces, said that his troops in Fansan Yamma together with air component conducted clearance operations along Shinkafi, Kagara, Fakai, Moriki, Maiwa and Chindo axis.
The raid also claimed Turji’s son and other terrorists on Fakai High Ground where the terrorists were hiding.
