In a bid to promote transparency and accountability in Nigeria, the Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) has launched an online public opinion survey to evaluate Nigerians’ perceptions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s first year in office.

This survey, which aims to gauge public sentiment on various critical issues, will be available from Wednesday, May 22, 2024, until Saturday, May 25, 2024.

The survey, accessible at https://tinyurl.com/tinubuoneyearpoll, will collect public opinions on key areas such as the economy, security, health, education, infrastructure, and transparency.

ACOE urges all Nigerians to participate and share the poll link widely across all social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram.

“This initiative is part of our commitment to ensuring that the voices of Nigerians are heard and considered in the national discourse,” said ACOE spokesperson. “We believe that public opinion is crucial in shaping policies and holding leaders accountable.”

The final results of the survey will be released on May 29, 2024, coinciding with President Tinubu’s one-year anniversary in office.

These results are expected to provide an objective assessment of his administration’s performance and help set a developmental agenda for the future.

ACOE invites all members and the general public to participate in this important survey and contribute to a more transparent and accountable governance in Nigeria.
