Daughter, Father Arrested for Possession of Fresh Human Parts in Osun

Ganiyu Wasiu and his 21-year-old daughter, Muizzat, were arrested with fresh human parts by members of the Osun Western Nigerian Security Network, codenamed Amotekun.
The suspects were nabbed while transporting mutilated body parts in a ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bag in the Oke-Fia area of Igege town in Olaoluwa Local Government Area.
Ganiyu claimed he was set up by her daughter’s husband after he was saved from being lynched by a mob.

Apart from the two accused, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, Field Commandant of Amotekun, said his men made other arrests.
He said: “Seven more suspects were arrested in Iwo town in connection with the fresh human parts. The identity of the corpse is yet to be known.
“We arrested Lawal Ibraheem (25), Adiatu Rufus (19), Fatola Niyi (45), Eniola Akeem(42), Chief Amusan (64), Alaba Oyeniran (31) and Oyekola Ibraheem (20).”
Amitolu noted that all the suspects have been handed over to the Department of State Service (DSS) for investigation.
