Gobir Foundation Adorns Ilorin Girl-Child Mechanic ‘Hero of the Month’
In recognition of all outstanding and deserving individuals in all walks of life, Gobir Organization Foundation today conferred the hero of the month award on Abiodun Oluwatosin Atoyebi, a 17-year-old motorcycle repairer based in Ilorin.
To acknowledge her passion and perseverance to continue her late father’s work. Atoyebi has recently flooded pages of dailies, broadcasting stations, Television stations, and threads on social media platforms for her uniqueness.
The young girl came to the limelight in early 2020 when one Mr Kehinde from NTA Ilorin did a human-angle story about her. Atoyebi has a touching story which made a prominent organization like Gobir Foundation to have chosen her as the organization’s Hero of the month.
Speaking at the presentation ground, Hassan Abdullah, President Association of Motorcycle/Tricycle mechanics of Nigeria, Kwara State chapter commended the organization for their kind gesture in encouraging and supporting Atoyebi, “if other foundations can be like yours, our society will appreciate the “.
In her remark, the Principal of her school, Nike Niniola, where Atoyebi attends, Mrs Mary David, appreciate the Foundation for celebrating one of her students.
Guardian of Atoyebi, Mrs Comfort, commended the immeasurable efforts of Gobir Organization for touching the lives of the indigents. She prays to God to protect and bless the founder of the organization and his staff.
In response to the Award, Abiodun Oluwatosin Atoyebi, the 17-year-old awardee, dedicated the award to her late father, who nurtured throughout her their stay together.
