RECRUITMENT: NDLEA Assures Applicants of Seamless Process Despite Challenges on Portal

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has acknowledged the challenges faced by candidates attempting to apply for the ongoing recruitment exercise.

The agency, through its spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Wednesday assures applicants that they are working tirelessly to resolve the issues on the application portal and make the process seamless.

Babafemi remarked that within hours of the online application portal opening on Sunday, March 12th, it began experiencing technical issues due to the high volume of applicants trying to access the system. The NDLEA reacted promptly by upgrading the infrastructure on Tuesday, March 14th, to accommodate the large number of applicants, noting by this time, over 53,170 applicants had already logged into the portal.

“The system is currently synchronising the data at the back-end of the infrastructure to adjust to the server upgrade,” he added.

 

With over 200,000 applicants expected to apply, the NDLEA recruitment exercise is generating a lot of interest from job seekers across the country.

The agency’s management has assured the public that they are committed to conducting a fair and transparent recruitment exercises, while urging interested applicants to continue to monitor the portal for updates.
