The highly anticipated sighting of the Crescent for the month of Shawwal 1444 has finally been confirmed, with reports indicating that it was sighted earlier today in Saudi Arabia’s towns of Tumair and Sudair.
With the development, it is believed that tomorrow, Friday, 21st April 2023, would be celebrated as Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.
This news was officially confirmed through a post on the verified Facebook page of Haramain Sharifain on Thursday evening, which is widely regarded as the official source for such announcements.
